Agree with the Flonase. Also, been doubling up on antihistamines. Bedtime Benadryl, Morning Allegra (non-drowsy). But, I rotate Allegra & Claritin & Zyrtec because develop tolerance fast. Plus, morning Sudafed...the original one behind the counter. Daughter seems to be at least hanging in there. Fatigue was the worst for her.
After two yrs of suffering, we started adding "local" honey to our diet. That and buying the best air filters & changing them every two or three months. Amazed at the results! My wife has to take zertec-sp? Every one and a while, when grass polling is high, but nothing like before. #beesarethekey #saveourbeesplease
Flonase or nasacort over the counter nasal steroid works great for nasal allergy. Astelin or pataday are nasal allergy prescription med Claritin Zyrtec Allegra work for allergies. chlorpheniramine for allergies dries you up singular prescription another option for allergies and asthma sufferers. Sudafed helps with sinus pressure and congestion relief nasal saline rinse works great

I use a nasal spray with lemon, lavender, and peppermint essential oils. It's kept me off meds for most of this past year. For my daughter, who has much more severe symptoms than me, it's reduced her symptoms.
I have had seasonal allergies all my life and moved here in the fall of 2010 from NY and in the spring 2011 I had the worst allergies of my life. I was stuffy for over a month. I tried the local honey which seemed to help because every year after that is milder. I also take generic Zytrec daily by prescription which saves a lot of money. About $10 for a 90 day supply. I
Nasal spray -- XYLITOL from Family Health Market works absolute wonders! Also, decrease cows milk products. Goats milk products are much easier on your system when dealing w anything respiratory related.
