The Frisco City Council Recognizes the Islamic Holy Month of Muharram
At the August 2nd City Council meeting, Mayor Jeff Cheney was joined by members of the Frisco Inclusion Committee and members of the Frisco Islamic community in recognizing the Islamic holy month of Muharram.
Regarded as the advent of the Islamic New Year, Muharram runs from July 30 through August 28 for 2022 and is the second holiest month after Ramadan.
