Suspect Rams Truck into Collin County Sheriff's Office's Sally Port Doors

Press Release - 11/19/22
For Immediate Release:

On Saturday, November 19, 2022 at approximately 1pm, a Collin County Detention Facility employee observed a suspicious white Dodge Ram pickup in the parking lot of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office. When approached by detention officers, the suspect rammed his truck through the sally port doors, gaining entry into the prisoner pickup and drop off area, where he was immediately arrested. Upon further investigation, three damaged government vehicles were discovered in the Sheriff’s Office parking lot. Neither the suspect nor employees of the Sheriff’s Office were injured during the incident.

The suspect has been identified as 55-year-old Paul Kaspar of Farmersville. Kaspar was recently released from the Collin County Detention Facility for a similar criminal mischief incident involving the use of his truck in October.

Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner extends his thanks and gratitude to the McKinney Police Department for their rapid response and assistance during today’s incident.
