Frisco Family Services Holding Food Drive June 3rd
Hunger doesn't take a summer break. . .
13% of our FISD school kids are on free and reduced lunch. That's approximately 8500 children.
That's like filling every seat in Kuykendall Stadium. Our shelves become depleted during the summer months, so we need Frisco to show up big with food donations for our food drive!
Donations
Market donations should be delivered, or dropped off, to 9085 Dogwood (across from Frisco Resale).
The Drive is June 3rd from 10am to 3pm.
Donations can also be made: Mon. Tues., Thurs. and Fri. from 9-5 p.m., and Wed. from 9-6 p.m. Frisco Resale can also accept most Market donations on Saturdays from 9-5 p.m.
Urgent Food Needs:
Pasta & Pasta Sauce (all varieties)
Canned meats (tuna, chicken, Spam®)
Boxed Meal Helpers (Hamburger/Tuna Helper®, or mac & cheese)
Almond, Rice & Soy Milks
Condiments (mayo, ketchup, salad dressing, relish)
Jelly (we get peanut butter all the time with NO jelly!)
Flour
Sugar
Cooking Oil (24 or 48 oz.)
Seasonings (all varieties)
Sandwich Bread
Boxed Snacks
Juice Boxes (small)
Bottled Water
Non-Food:
Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash/Bath Soap, Deodorant, Facial Cleanser (full size)
Feminine Hygiene Products (tampons, pads)
Laundry Detergent
Dishwashing Soap
