Join us Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at Kaleidoscope Park for the inaugural Run for the Rita 5K. The event kicks off at 8am, with the race officially starting at 9am. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K route around Frisco and finish with a celebratory margarita. Registration includes entry into the chip-timed race, an official race bib, a finisher’s medal, and a handcrafted margarita at the finish line.

Post-race festivities include local vendors, food trucks, a themed photo booth, and entertainment, making it a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend.

Race awards include prizes for top male and female finishers (1st: $100, 2nd: $50, 3rd: $25), stroller strider 1st place ($25), and additional awards for various age groups (14 & under through 60+).
