Anonymous Inflammatory Account Reportedly A Frisco Resident, Works For ICE

Texas Observer has reported that "GlomarResponder", an X account with a large following and a history of racist, inflammatory and fascist statements, is James "Jim" Joseph Rodden. Rodden is reported by the Observer to be a 44-year-old resident of Frisco, who works as an assistant chief counsel for ICE.

The GlomarResponder account has posted numerous inflammatory posts online, including:

- "America is a White nation, founded by Whites. … Our country should favor us"
- "All blacks are foreign to my people, dumb ****" (censoring added by Frisco.com)
- "Freedom of association hasn't existed in this country since 1964 at the absolute latest," referring to the Civil Rights Act.
- "I'm not a commie, I'm a fascist"
- "'Migrants' are all criminals."
- "Nobody is proposing feeding migrants into tree shredders. Yet. Give it a few more weeks at this level of invasion, and that will be the moderate position."
- "My WWII vet grandfather didn't get a chance to kill asians, so he volunteered for Korea. He'd be asking for a short term job with ICE kicking doors and swinging a baton."

But either way I agree with freedom of speech even if I don't agree with him. So his doxing was not clever either whoever did it.

Freedom of speech is fine, freedom from consequences is not. This guy 100% should not be working for ICE.

I have to respectfully disagree. I have gotten racist comments and comments against my religion that were very hurtful . Should they lose their livelihood because they are blatantly racist and offended my religion? Absolutely not! Now if things get to the point of violence similar to what happened in Miami then of course there should be repercussions but someone shouldn't lose their livelihood simply for being racist.

So should a Jewish person deny care to a Nazi? Or a black to a KKK member? I don't agree with someone losing their jobs because they may or may not do something based on online posts. They can investigate past incidents to see if there was any bias but if he was a "good" employee then why just why?

If I worked an elderly home, and was seriously posting about how old people are inferior, and how working at an elderly home gives an opportunity to assault old people, and about old people being fed into wood chippers...then Yes, obviously, I shouldn't be working at a home for the elderly.

If I constantly post on Twitter about feeding animals into the wood chipper (unironically), I shouldn't work for a vet.

This guy is, I don't know, maybe the top 3% of the population when it comes to extremist racist opinions against minorities and immigrants. That is NOT the guy you want in charge of minorities and immigrants. His opinions seem borde-line mental illness to me in their extremeness.

AND it's just a major liability for the organization. What if he does end up abusing/assaulting someone, and the organization gets sued? I'd like to see that defense, after the prosecution shows his tweets about feeding immigrants into wood chippers...

Seems like very basic common sense here.

Your take is my husbands take. My point is ppl say dumb and racist stuff all the time online. They shouldn't be doxed for that. I see people on twitter say idiotic things for attention all the time.
