The book I am reading now is Woman of God by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro which is a good read and thought provoking. I'd recommend it. I also have on deck The Giver by Lois Lowdry. Won the John Newberry award for American Literature for Children which are some of my personal favorites! Also thought provoking and good.

@Tamara :
Surprisingly, I don't think I've ever read a James Patterson novel...
I've picked up a couple Dan Brown and John Grisham books at the airport during long flights, and I kind of assume his style is similar?

@Tamara :
I recently finished Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, which was really good.
I then I recently bought, but haven't started, The Talented Mr. Ripley, which is what the movie with Matt Damon, Jude Law, & Gweneth Paltrow was based on. I've heard the book is better than the movie.

@Jjj: they are easy reads and can become somewhat like a hallmark movie unless it's a somewhat "stand alone" book of his. I've read a ton of his books and prefer this kind of a story as opposed to "Alex Cross" series now.

@Stellenator: yes very good! Any time I see a book with the Newberry Award on it too I grab it! Ha, I just like them usually.
