I think my property value will increase but I wonder if it would really sell at that price if I wanted to sell it now. (I don't). Frisco school prop tax (FISD) is always the highest of the 4 parts of my annual prop tax. I still think the city should manage its debts better, decreasing spending on what to me are nonessentials and maintaining essentials including employee staffing and health benefits, and city necessary upkeep. I know administrators in most
Professions are highly paid and rewarded. But wouldn't it be novel if Frisco chose to lower admin salaries. I probably need a shield for saying that. Ha. But I guess I should be grateful for no increase in city tax. I look at all the growth and expensive houses and businesses and think how many are paying taxes bringing greater income to the city. The cost of utilities and energy are up. Seniors get some good breaks but many are really being squeezed. Working families with kids have so many bills. Citizens with health issues are being stressed. I do see neighbors and organizations reaching out to help and support one another. That is a great thing about our city. Do what you can to help one another.
