A Prayer for Today
"Father, thank You that wherever Jesus went He brought healing to all who came to Him. Thank You that my faith and expectancy can be settled that it is Your will to bring me healing. I receive Your provision of healing by faith today for whatever I need. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

God controls everything. Sometimes He'll delay things, close a door, cause someone to walk away. We may not recognize it then, but it's all serving His plan. You can stay in peace, knowing that He's ordering your steps. David said, "God, my times are in Your hands." He was saying, "I'm not going to be frustrated by delays. I'm not going to be sour when my nets are empty. I'm not going to live discouraged because I'm not further along. I know something's cooking. I know my fish are already on the grill, that there are prepared blessings".

Pay attention to what you're speaking. Are you talking about the problem, what you don't have, what's not going to work out? Your words are setting the direction for your life. Ask yourself, "Is what I'm about to say what I want to come into my life?" "I don't see how I can ever get out of debt." Zip that up. That's inviting the wrong things. "I will lend and not borrow. I live under the open windows of heaven. Father, thank You that my cup runs over." "It looks like this sickness will be the end of me. I'm not improving at all." Zip that up. That will keep you from your healing. Turn it around. Say, "Father, thank You that You're restoring health unto me, that I'm getting better every day, that with long life You will satisfy me."

"Father, thank You that You are able to make all things serve me for my good, even the struggles, the pains, and the failures that seem like a waste. Thank You that I can stay in peace and trust the process. I believe that You are working out Your plan for my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
