Assault & stalking allegations in Grayhawk area of Frisco
This is a repost from another person that has been circulating recently about an alleged assault, property damage, and stalking behavior going on in the Grayhawk area of Frisco. These are only allegations and have not been independently verified.
Their account of the recent incidents:
"Neighbors, with guidance from the Frisco Police Department, I am writing this to ask you to remain highly vigilant to protect my family, your families, and our community. Yesterday morning, Thursday, August 20, 2026 around 6:45am, I was personally targeted and attacked next to the football field of Stafford Middle School by Cameron Theus - an individual well-known to law enforcement, who appears to be already out on bail for a pending February 2026 arrest for Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled with Intent to Cause Bodily Injury. In addition, I noticed other disturbing posts about him on another website, and I find it's important for us to raise awareness about this individual's sickening actions, terrorizing our neighborhoods. He lives in Grayhawk, in the vicinity of Rising Star and Stevens Point.
What Transpired Yesterday Morning:
The offender was actively hunting another woman directly in front of Stafford Middle School on Rising Star Boulevard. She was on her morning run, concerned for her safety because he was hunting and following her, and she asked to wait by my car for a few minutes until he passed. When we thought the perpetrator was far away and out of sight as he turned left on Koehn Drive, she started heading back towards her home. In a split second, I saw him emerge from the alley between 2 homes, back on the street, walking really fast in her direction again. I intervened to protect her and warned her with a loud shout that he was starting to chase her again. He then changed directions, lunged at me, aggressively charged my vehicle, and attempted to violently assault me through my open door. I was placed in imminent fear of severe bodily harm. He violently smashed my driver-side mirror in an attempt to reach me.
The impact caused a loud, shattering boom. My son and his teammates practicing on the football field witnessed the entire incident, and genuinely feared a firearm had been discharged, causing immense emotional trauma and panic.
Because the police initially processed this as simple property damage to my vehicle, a magistrate judge rubber-stamped a low $5,000 Class A misdemeanor bond. This means he can walk free today for just a $500 payment to a bondsman.
The threat to my family has severely escalated since his arrest yesterday morning. The offender's father tracked down our residence. He staked out our driveway, rang our doorbell, and physically pursued my husband in a car down the street to the Panther Creek light by the pool entrance to try to force an illegal cash payoff for our car's repair. This is a direct attempt at witness intimidation to prevent his son from facing a felony upgrade. Frisco PD is adding these additional details into a supplemental criminal file.
I spoke with the Denton County District Attorney Felony Intake Division today. Because my official repair estimate from the dealership came back at above the misdemeanor threshold, this will be upgraded to a State Jail Felony. The DA felony attorney and their team will take over the case once the PD officially transfers it.
Please keep your home doors, garages, and vehicles locked at all times. Check your security camera logs from yesterday, today, and the coming days for suspicious individuals matching his description, or vehicles loitering near our driveway/street.
