I have to admit I like Taco Bell tacos and Mexican pizza. I am glad Texas wasn't on the list (yet?). I like their cinnamon twists too…
The respiratory viral illness report shows no big news but is great to keep an eye on. COVID is not a mandatory reporting illness (with a few exceptions) so data is just a glimpse of whatever is or isn't going on.
Much of these Resp. Viral illnesses begins to rise around Christmas, but RSV seems around Oct/Nov.
What do you do to avoid these illnesses in yourself or to prevent spreading them to others if you have symptoms?

Iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell in 5 states linked to Cyclospora outbreak, says FDA

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced yesterday that it has narrowed down the source of the five-state Cyclospora outbreak to shredded iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Michigan officials assessed 190 of the food exposures from Taco Bell and informed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of their results. The vast majority of the people, 90%, admitted to eating iceberg lettuce from one of the restaurants. The CDC used data from 1,644 peop
