Lane & Road Closures For Half-Marathon On Saturday, April 12

(April 8, 2025) Expect lane and road closures on several major roads in southeast Frisco for a half-marathon this Saturday morning, April 12. Closures will start at 5 a.m. and run through 11 a.m. Not all lanes will be closed the entire time. Barricades will be removed and roads will be reopened as soon as the last runners progress clockwise through the course. Visit the event organizer’s website for more details, including a race traffic hotline and email address.

The race will start and end at Collin College and drivers should anticipate detours and traffic delays along the race route with restricted movement at the intersection of Coit and Rolater Rd.
Details for each closure are described below and are shown in the race route map above. Drivers are urged to seek an alternate route in advance.
Those living in the neighborhoods along the route should read the list of neighborhood alternate routes provided by the race organizers. It shows the timing for specific detours:
Neighborhood Alternative Routes . Again, roads will be reopened as the last runners progress through the course. Police will be assisting with traffic . See alternative routes here: tinyurl.com/yjvu7m37
