As we get closer to midterm elections it seems like news media

@Pecan7: You know I really dislike election season. The ads are completely out of hand with derogatory blown up statements it turns me off from the person doing the bashing and I see it in both parties. I hear politics and cringe.
Tell me what good you are doing and I will listen otherwise I may as well flip a coin. Yes I hate this time of year and am grateful I can switch from local tv to Netflix or Prime and avoid the B.S. all together!

@Pecan7: this is the one thing I really dislike. I understand bringing up the bad about the competition. But some of what they are bringing up are false. Oh and then they say what all great things they will bring us but do not explain how they will do that. They rely on people to just hear what they are going to do but don't realize they how is either not possible or really is not a good thing.

@funacct: I haven't heard those ads but will take your word for it. I avoid listening to them.

@Tamara: seems like all the commercials are how bad the other person is.

@Tamara: Honestly I think the big thing right now is people thinking socialism is a good thing. I think those that think it really don't understand it.

I want our crime, (national and local) decreased, roads safe, food and water safe and available, judges honorable, courageous and wise; truth and basic science, math, life skills, logic and morality in our education; system; stop drug abuse and sexual abuse, greatly reduce taxes. I want support for good farming, ranching, national security and fair and honest elections. I want affordable, nearby health care services, pharmacology, tests and procedures based on proven science and honest, thorough research.
I want the news and social media and tv to report honest facts and of present and past activities.
This is what I think about when I prepare to vote.
