Hello! My name is DebJ5.
I recently moved to Frisco from the central coast also known as California wine country. FWI- It is hot there as well. Look up Paso Robles to see where I'm from.
Family brought me to the area and I have enjoyed discovering all things Texas. I have one sweet dog who has been with me for the last 7 years. I love the arts and live music and exploring Texas.

Hello! My name is Angil.
A little about me: My husband and I have been living in Frisco for the last 22 years, so we've see a lot of growth in our little city. We're both retired now. My husband is currently active in helping to plan for an Elks Lodge to be located here in Frisco. If you're not familiar with The Elks, you might want to do a little research to find out if they're an organization you and your family might enjoy being involved with. I love to crochet and have donated items to the Level IV NICU at the Medical City Children's Hospital for preemie babies and scarves, hats, and mittens to Our Calling in Dallas for the last several years. Would be willing to teach crochet for free to anyone that wants to learn.

DebJ5 : Welcome to Frisco Texas Deb. Glad you could make it here. My husband and I moved to Frisco about 22 years ago from Sacramento. We're both from the Central Valley and very familar with the Northern California Wine Country area. We used to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Frisco has been the fasting growing city in the USA for quite awhile now. I believe the population here was around 15,000 when we got here. Perhaps we'll meet one day.

You may almost feel like you're living in a foreign country at times for awhile until you get used to this new lifestyle. I certainly did for about the first year after moving here. Lots to learn about living in this State.
