Iranian Hackers Claim Frisco / North Texas AT&T OutageWFAA is reporting that an Iranian hacking group has claimed it caused Monday's AT&T outage across Frisco and North Texas, but AT&T says there's no evidence supporting that claim and points to attempted cable theft as the cause.The Sept. 7 outage disrupted internet, TV and phone service for thousands. Downdetector reports peaked at nearly 6,000, and service was mostly restored by 6 p.m.The group, APT IRAN, also threatened more attacks on U.S. infrastructure ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
