K9 Assist with Collin County Child Porn ArrestA Collin County Sheriff's Office K9 helped investigators uncover thousands of images and videos of child sexual abuse material during a CyberTip investigation this week.On May 21, the Sheriff's Office Child Exploitation Unit served a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Willow Lane in Blue Ridge, Texas.K9 Umber, the department's electronic storage detection dog, helped investigators locate several electronic devices inside the residence. The devices were searched on scene and found to contain thousands of images and videos of child sexual abuse material, according to the Sheriff's Office.Shannon Keith Dyce, a registered sex offender, was taken into custody and booked into the Collin County Detention Facility.Dyce is charged with possession of child pornography involving more than 50 visual depictions of a child engaging in sexual conduct, and possession of visual material depicting sexual assault.
