Frisco Police Make Arrest in Fatal Night Shooting

Frisco Police Arrest Subject for Murder in Previous Night’s Shooting
(November 14, 2024) The Frisco Police Department has arrested a subject for murder in the fatal shooting of another person.
On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at approximately 8:23 p.m., Frisco Officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of the Walmart located on the northeast corner of Eldorado Parkway and FM 423. The reporting party advised that after hearing gunfire, one person had possibly been shot and the suspect had fled the area in a gray sedan. Upon arrival, the victim, identified as 22-year-old Ja'Karrion Craig, was found lying in the parking lot with wounds to his chest and foot. Despite lifesaving measures by Officers and Frisco Fire personnel, Craig subsequently died at a local hospital.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division and members of the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene. After conducting multiple interviews and reviewing security video of the incident, a suspect was identified. Earlier this morning, that suspect was located at their residence and taken into custody without incident by Frisco SWAT.
