NB Dallas Pkwy. Closed between Stonebrook Pkwy. and Cotton Gin Rd., January 25-26
(January 24, 2025) The northbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road will be closed over the weekend between Stonebrook Pkwy. and Cotton Gin Rd. beginning Saturday, January 25 at 5 a.m. and will reopen by 9 p.m. Sunday, January 26. The NB DNT exit ramp to Cotton Gin Rd. and Main St. will also be closed on Saturday, but will reopen early Sunday morning. The road closures are so that new pavement can be added to the frontage road bridge. Details of the closures and detours are described below and in the above map.
While the northbound DNT exit ramp to Cotton Gin Rd. and Main St. is closed, drivers heading to the Downtown Frisco area, including the Frisco Public Library, should take the earlier exit ramp to Stonebrook Pkwy. and then follow the detour described below.
The NB Dallas Parkway frontage road will be closed to all but local traffic at Stonebrook Pkwy. Traffic headed to Genesis Ct. should proceed north on Dallas Pkwy. All other traffic should follow the detour and turn left onto Stonebrook Pkwy. Traffic will be directed to use Stonebrook Pkwy., Legacy Dr. and Cotton Gin Rd. to go around the closure [see above map]. Detour signs will be posted.
The NB Dallas Pkwy. frontage road will be closed to all traffic at Genesis Ct. The section of northbound frontage road between the railroad tracks and Genesis Court will be temporarily converted into a two-way road during this time.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
Consider using the Waze app to navigate around road closures.
