Frisco: Austin Metcalf's Twin Accepts Diploma on His Behalf Memorial High School in Frisco paused during Thursday's graduation ceremony to honor Austin Metcalf, a student whose death deeply affected the Frisco community. Austin's twin brother received his diploma on his behalf, and the moment was met with a standing ovation from the crowd. Austin was killed in April 2025 during a track meet, when he was a junior at the school. Another student, Karmelo Anthony, has been charged with murder in connection with the case. Story from WFAA:
