Come on y'all someone has got to have an opinion on renaming roads, buildings etc and spending the money to do so. M opinion, there's nothing wrong with the name it's got. Is that recommendation coming from taking his name off th Kennedy Center? I think it's gone far enough!

@Tamara: I font think it's a good idea but do wonder how true this is.

You would think he has more important things to do than suck up to people politically. Keep the current name.

@jonandreve: I agree! Politics and politicians is its own beast either good, bad naturally (that's my opinion). I typically do not discuss my stand on most of it and I am not fond of renaming buildings and roadways. Just wait.. I am not anti Trump and I am sure if he just waits, something original can get his name on it! Like what is the point to change them!?

Oh, just saw this thread. It smells of extreme butt kissing to me from Patterson, honestly... ; ) We all know Trump likes when stuff is named after himself.I also think it would be a good policy to just ban naming stuff after politicians until at least 20 years after they've passed away...it would remove some of the partisan hackery surrounding these issues...

How much does it cost and who pays for all these names changes? It must drive map and other data site managers crazy.
Sometimes I think stuff that seems nuts is just purposeful distraction and annoyance.
