@Tamara :
What's it about?

I am currently reading "I Who Have Never Known Men":
A post-apocalyptic novel about 39 women and a young girl imprisoned in an underground cage, guarded by silent soldiers, who escape to a desolate world, exploring themes of humanity, memory, and more. The story, narrated by the girl who has no memory of the outside world, is a philosophical and haunting tale about survival, identity, and what it means to be human after civilization has collapsed.

@Jjj: A true story from the Great Depression era of a grandmother's resilience and triumphs during that time.
Just a good old story!!! A true story is always my favorite!

@Tamara : Have you read the Grapes of Wrath? Pretty dense and intense...but a really good novel. Set in the Depression Era.
