The U.S. House voted, by a wide margin, to pass the 'Sunshine Protection Act'

If the bill became Law, it would make daylight saving time permanent and end twice-a-year clock changes

The bill now heads to the Senate for a vote.

How do you feel about it?

I am all in favor of now more time changes - not sure if I'd prefer keeping daylight savings as our normal and having later sunrise in the winter and later sunset - or earlier sunrise if we made standard time the new normal! Will just be happy to not have to Jack with the clock!

@funacct :
I really hope it happens...the pain in the rear of changing clocks and adjusting sleep schedules for 300 million people is just not worth it...

@funacct : I'm actually a fan of this - but agree that it will make for some awkward sunrise and sunset times during the year
