@Pecan7 :
The American Experience shows clips at times that are one-sided and not up to date. Videos of the mess of the capitol blaming Trump without noting Biden FBI heavy participation, and no detailing updated truth about actual capitol human injuries. Too bad because there is much to appreciate in the film but I now have to wonder about any other misleading surmises. It did intensely present our terrible actions in slavery, American Indians, and women's rights. I would have appreciated more research detail into who specifically orchestrated and benefited from these atrocities. Certainly not the average citizen.
I would enjoy a film as well produced, but accurate, that delivered shows about the differences between historical figures in our current and past world who gained or inherited wealth by greed, avarice and cruelty, versus ethical, moral, smart leaders who won and lost and learned their way to wealth and success.
Also, of great interest to me would be a video series about the detailed history and outcomes of compromising in world business, economics, and even religion. Who won, who lost amidst the details of these bargains? The American Experience touched on this subject. Frisco could be a video series if its own - lol. I imagine most of the background details of so much of life is so deeply buried that films can only offer entertainment.
