π Bread Zeppelin Lands in Frisco
Salad⦠inside a baguette.
That's it. That's the concept.
Bread Zeppelin opened June 5 at
π 4331 Main St., Ste. 120
The Dallas born restaurant serves made-to-order salads stuffed inside hollowed out baguettes (called "Zeppelins"), or you can get a regular bowl if you're feeling less adventurous.
Menu highlights:
Buffalo Chicken
Classic Caesar
Cobb
Southwest
It's basically a salad that refuses to be boring.
Frisco officially has:
Donuts for breakfast
Margarita festivals for lunch
Salad bread submarines for dinner
We are a culinary ecosystem.

Bread Zeppelin LOL. I thought it was a typo at first. Didn't know about them. Thanks for the headsup. Seems very interesting. Anytime I hear baguette I am game.

@KiNg : @Tamara : Lol....I do wonder how they avoid getting sued over that name! ; ) Looks kind of tasty, but probably all comes down to how good the bread is.

@Tamara: @ChrisR: @KiNg: @Jjj: if you have not had one of their sandwich salads, could that be salad sandwich? Anyway you have to try it. The bread is so gooooood. And don't let Panera fool you that they have the same thing. Now they are a bit pricey but I think they are worth it.

@funacct @Tamara @KiNg @Jjj : Went ahead and tried this for the first time today. Went with the Washington State - actually pretty good for a quick lunch! Thanks again for the suggestion!

@Jjj: looks yummy! Oh and a zeppelin was a cigar shaped blimp. I kind of think itβs quite creative!

@funacct: most places would call it a hoagie roll. I like the name bread zeppelin way better!! Glad they are getting good business!
