You can't make this up, they called their operation "Blessing in no time."

Had to google names to see photos of them. I wish all news articles would add images of the criminals. I hope the victims get their money back somehow.

@xAyeikax :

Here's the image...apparently they were "reality TV" stars a while back.

40 years is a long time to think about their decisions...

@KiNg: is it sad that I thought pyramid schemes did not exist anymore? I thought that was a 1980-1990 thing.

@xAyeikax : While the sentence was only recently handed down but there was a $10.76M judgement against them in 2023.

Some news reported it was a $25M fraud some said $30M. Supposedly members signed up and paid $1,400 to be "Blessed In No Time" and there were ~8,000 victims so that made about $11.2M.

The Office of Attorney General (OAG) asked for a $10.76M judgement but the defendants are only required to pay up to $2.5M or a min. of $450,000.

I think some of the early members got paid when they recruited new members. The $10.76M judgement was probably to pay other members. Not sure if they OAG was able to recover the money.
